--- The Wheel Turns --
You weigh in your mind your options to either continue in your weakened state after Maeslyn or remain until you recover your strength before pursuing your journey. You decide to remain and heal from your wounds and fatigue and catch up with Maeslyn at the Golden Stag inn.
After discussing it with Hadra, he agrees to pay you five copper pennies a day for odd jobs around the house: sharpening the axe, the knives, and even helping Alara polishing a set of brass pots hanging on various pegs in the homey kitchen.
Six days pass without incident as your strength returns.
While recuperating and doing odd jobs, you also ask about town and find that some horses are up for sale. You see a small spunky white stallion that catches your eye. This would lessen the time it would take. The asking price, even after you try your hand at bartering with the stubborn horse merchant, is 70 silver marks. Unfortunately, even after the five days of odd jobs, you only have some 16 marks and 30 pennies, the equivalent of about 19 marks total, not nearly enough money to purchase the animal.
The day finally comes when your wounds show only pink skin and bruises, and you you finally feel ready to resume your journey towards Caemlyn.
